The cruise control of MG6 is operated via the stalk switch located at the lower left side of the steering wheel. When the cruise control system is in standby mode, press the "Set" button at the end of the stalk switch, and the indicator light on the instrument panel will turn green, indicating the cruise system is activated. Relevant instructions are as follows: 1. The MG6 cruise control is operated through the stalk switch on the lower left side of the steering wheel. To adjust the target cruising speed, push the stalk switch upward and hold it, and the vehicle will accelerate automatically. Release the switch immediately when the desired speed is reached; pushing the stalk switch downward will decelerate the vehicle. Additionally, you can gradually increase or decrease the set speed by flicking the stalk switch and releasing it immediately. Each flick of the stalk switch will increase or decrease the speed by approximately 1 km/h. While the cruise control system is active, pressing the accelerator pedal normally can still accelerate the vehicle. Upon releasing the accelerator pedal, the speed will return to the set cruising speed. 2. The cruise system will automatically exit to standby mode under the following conditions: the stalk switch is moved to the "Cancel" position; the brake pedal is pressed; the gear of an automatic transmission model is shifted to P, R, or N; poor road conditions trigger the dynamic stability control system for safety reasons; or when the slope is too steep, causing excessive speed reduction, the cruise system will also pause automatically.
