How to Clean a Motorcycle Fuel Injector?

Remove the fuel distribution pipe, take out the fuel injector, and use carburetor cleaner to remove carbon deposits from the injector's inlet and outlet. Apply 12V voltage to the fuel injector, connect the fine tube of the carburetor filter to the inlet. Intermittently touch the 12V power supply to make the cleaner spray out.
Cleaning motorcycle fuel injectors is actually quite simple, and I often DIY it myself. First, make sure the engine has cooled down, and disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent short circuits. Then remove the fuel injector, which is usually located below the fuel tank, connected to the engine. Soak it in specialized fuel injector cleaner for about 10 minutes, then gently scrub the internal carbon deposits with a soft brush. After rinsing, dry it with compressed air before reinstalling and testing. The whole process takes about half an hour, but if you're worried about making mistakes, it's best to consult a professional mechanic, as fuel injectors are very precise and damage can affect acceleration and fuel efficiency. I usually check them every 5,000 kilometers to avoid long-term carbon buildup causing engine vibration or increased fuel consumption.
