How to Clean a Car Fuel Tank?

Methods for cleaning a car fuel tank: 1. Exterior: Inspect and clean the exterior of the fuel tank, checking for dents and leaks in the tank, fuel lines, and connectors. Tighten the fuel tank bracket mounting bolts. If any dents or leaks are found, remove and repair the damaged components. 2. Interior: Open the fuel tank cap, remove the filter screen, and siphon out some of the fuel, leaving about 30L of fuel in the tank. Insert a clean compressed air pipe into the fuel tank through the filler neck, reaching the bottom. Use air pressure to agitate the fuel at the bottom of the tank for cleaning. During cleaning, you can slightly block the filler neck with a clean cloth while continuously changing the position and direction of the air pipe's lower end. After blowing and cleaning for 20 minutes, immediately drain the fuel from the tank to allow any suspended impurities to flow out with the fuel.
