How to Choose the Right Road Section and Location for Temporary Parking of Motor Vehicles?

If it is not a highway, look for a sparsely populated or relatively wide open area to park. Or choose a road section with temporary parking signs. It is best to park in the service area. This ensures better safety for both personnel and vehicle property.
As a seasoned driver with over 20 years of experience, I always prioritize safety when parking. I avoid temporary stops on curves, slopes, or intersections due to poor visibility, which can easily lead to rear-end collisions. Instead, I choose straight road sections or open flat areas, turning on the hazard lights to alert following vehicles. The parking spot must be wide enough, ensuring it doesn't block sidewalks or fire lanes. For short stops, I quickly get in and out, locking the doors before handling my business. I'd like to remind new drivers that illegal parking at bus stops or school entrances may result in fines, and more dangerously, could cause traffic congestion. Extra caution is needed on rainy days—avoid waterlogged areas and blind spots to ensure safety for both yourself and others. If no suitable spot is found, it's better to drive a bit further to official parking areas or lots.
