How to Choose a Motorcycle?

For leisure travel, you can choose an adventure bike; for a more artistic and stylish look, a retro bike is suitable; if you enjoy extreme sports, an off-road motorcycle is the way to go. For riders under 160cm in height, a seat height below 700mm is recommended. For those between 170cm and 180cm, a seat height below 820mm is advisable.
Choosing a motorcycle starts with understanding your needs. My first bike was a 150cc street bike with a low seat height, easy to handle, fuel-efficient, and perfect for city commuting. Beginners should start with small-displacement models like the Honda CB190 or Yamaha MT-03—lightweight, agile, and with low handling barriers. During test rides, focus on the riding posture and bike weight; ensure both feet can firmly touch the ground for safety. Don’t skimp on protective gear—at least a DOT-certified helmet is a must. Take modifications slowly: start with crash guards to protect the engine, then add auxiliary lights or top cases once you’re more familiar.
