How to Check Tire Wear Level?

Here are the methods to check tire wear level: 1. Observe the tread wear level. There are wear indicator bars in the tire grooves, approximately 1.6mm high. When the tread wears down to the level of these bars, the tire needs to be replaced. 2. Check for tread aging. If there are numerous cracks on the tread or sidewalls, the tire should be replaced immediately even if it hasn't reached its normal lifespan, as cracked tires significantly increase the risk of blowouts at high speeds. 3. Damaged sidewalls or bulges. A bulge indicates that the fabric or metal reinforcement layers in the sidewall have broken, which could lead to a blowout at any time, requiring immediate tire replacement. 4. Excessive tire repairs also warrant replacement. Generally, if a tire has been repaired more than three times, it's recommended to replace it, as multiple patches greatly increase potential risks during use. 5. Severe abnormal wear. If you notice vehicle pulling, uneven wear, cupping, scalloping, or out-of-round wear, along with increased tire noise, the risk associated with long-term abnormal wear also rises.
