How to Check the Remaining Fuel in a Volkswagen Bora?

The pointer type indicates the amount of fuel through the position of the pointer. The fuel gauge is marked with two letters, E and F. F stands for full, and E stands for empty. The digital fuel gauge shows the remaining fuel through the number of illuminated bars. More illuminated bars indicate sufficient fuel, while fewer bars indicate low fuel levels.
I've been driving a Bora for three years, and the fuel level display is quite intuitive. The round gauge on the left side of the dashboard is the fuel gauge, marked with a fuel pump icon. It has 'E' and 'F' markings—when the needle is closer to 'F,' it means there's plenty of fuel, and when it's near 'E,' it's time to refuel. The newer Bora models with digital dashboards are even clearer, directly showing the remaining mileage and fuel percentage. On highways, I often check the remaining mileage; although it fluctuates based on fuel consumption, it’s sufficient to remind you to plan a refuel. When approaching the red zone, the fuel gauge light turns yellow, indicating about 7 liters of fuel left—enough for 40-50 kilometers in the city. If the light turns red, refuel immediately to avoid damaging the fuel pump. It’s best to refuel when a quarter of the tank remains, rather than waiting for the warning, to protect the fuel pump and prevent breakdowns.
