How to Check the Mileage on a NIO Car?
2 Answers
The vehicle's mileage can be viewed on the odometer, usually indicated as ODO, with the unit 'km' following the numerical value. The car can display both the single-trip mileage and the total mileage. The single-trip mileage can be reset to zero, while the total mileage cannot be reset. On the average fuel consumption, driving time, or average speed page, long-pressing the 'TRIP' button can reset the relevant data.
As a NIO owner, I usually glance at the mileage on the car's large screen while driving. Once the vehicle starts, I can find the vehicle information menu on the touchscreen next to the steering wheel or the central control screen, scroll to the "Total Mileage" option, and it displays clearly after clicking. Additionally, I have the NIO App installed on my phone, and after logging in, the homepage directly shows real-time mileage data, which is particularly convenient for planning trips. For example, I check it before each charge to know how much range is left. Just remember not to operate the screen while driving—do it when parked. This is quite important for maintenance, as regular tracking can help detect abnormal wear early, affecting battery life or tire wear. I usually check it once or twice a week, and after forming the habit, driving feels more reassuring.
