How to Check the Manufacturing Date of a Car?
1 Answers
Vehicle manufacturing date can be checked in the following ways: 1. Passenger side: Below the side pillar on the passenger side, visible upon opening the door. 2. Certificate of Conformity: Located in the upper right corner of the certificate, where the manufacturing date is specified down to the year, month, and day. 3. Nameplate: A paper nameplate on the windshield in front of the driver's seat displays the manufacturing date for reference. Every car has its unique VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) upon leaving the factory; even cars of the same brand and model have different VINs. The tenth character (letter or digit) in the VIN indicates the manufacturing date. It is recommended to check the car's manual, which clearly states the manufacturing date of the vehicle.
