The method to check oil level with a dipstick is: When pulling the dipstick out of the engine, there are two circles at the lower end of the dipstick indicating the upper and lower limits of the oil level. Generally, the oil filling amount should be between the upper and lower limits, and must never exceed the upper limit. If the oil quantity is between the upper and lower limits, it indicates the oil level is normal. Engine oil is a substance enhanced with additives in base oil, mainly containing anti-wear additives, detergents, dispersants, and multi-grade oil viscosity index improvers.
