Methods to check if the car air conditioning is working properly: 1. Turn on the air conditioning while driving the car; if the engine is running, otherwise the air conditioning will not function normally; 2. Listen for any abnormal noises from the air conditioning. If there are no noises, it indicates the air conditioning is working properly. Loud noises suggest a problem with the compressor, which may require repair or replacement. Common symptoms of car air conditioning malfunctions include: the compressor engages, but the air conditioning system does not cool; the surface temperature of the compressor discharge pipe is very high; there is no temperature difference between the inlet and outlet pipes of the expansion valve; after the compressor engages, the high pressure does not change, but the low pressure is very low. The reason for this is: the temperature sensing bulb of the expansion valve is worn out, causing all the sealed refrigerant to leak, which closes the valve orifice of the expansion valve and prevents the refrigerant from circulating. Solution: Replace the expansion valve, then perform vacuuming, pressure testing, and recharge the refrigerant according to the specified amount for the air conditioning system.
