How to Check if a Used Car Has Been in an Accident?

Start by inspecting the front of the car. Open the hood and directly observe the screws, which should have a painted surface. If you notice any damage to the paint on the screws, it's highly likely that the hood has been removed or reinstalled, indicating something suspicious. After all, who would remove or replace the hood without a reason? Moving further back, there are two ways the radiator frame is connected: either with screws or weld points. If it's the latter, you don't need to worry about it. Instead, focus on the accessory screws on the radiator frame. If these screws show no signs of being tampered with, it suggests that the front part of the car is in good condition, and the likelihood of an accident is minimal. The screws on the engine mounts, specifically those on the longitudinal beams, are crucial. The reasons for removing or reinstalling these screws typically include: accident repairs, engine maintenance or overhaul, or replacing the engine mount cushions.
