How to Check Car Tail Lights?
1 Answers
The simplest method is to position the rear of the car facing a wall or another vehicle, as long as it can reflect light. Press the brake pedal and observe whether the brightness of the brake lights is consistent in both side mirrors. If one brake light is on, both sides should be somewhat visible, so check if the brightness is the same. 1. Check the fuse: A blown fuse usually causes both indicator lights to go out. However, on newer cars, the tail lights can blow individually. 2. Inspect the tail light wiring: Open the trunk and look at the wiring leading to the tail lights. You should be able to see where the wires should be connected. Gently wiggle them to check for any looseness. If the wires are loose, simply reconnect them yourself.
