Steps for charging a vehicle battery: 1. Open the battery's filler cap. If the battery is frozen, it should be thawed first. 2. Check the electrolyte level. If the electrolyte is insufficient, add distilled water first. 3. Connect the red clamp to the 12V or 24V terminal as required by the battery. Connect the red and black clamps to the "+" and "-" terminals of the power source, respectively. 4. Connect the battery's "+" and "-" terminals to the corresponding positive and negative terminals of the charger. 5. Properly connect the charger's power cord to the power outlet. Adjust the charging current using the regulator knob. Observe the ammeter reading; the charging current should be 10-15A, as excessive current can damage the battery.
