How to Change the Engine Oil You Purchased Yourself?

Method for changing self-purchased engine oil: 1. Start the car engine and turn it off once the water temperature reaches the normal operating range. Then, use a jack or car lift to raise the vehicle; 2. Open the oil drain plug at the bottom and use a specialized wrench to remove the oil filter. The oil will drain slowly from the drain plug, allowing you to remove the filter for secondary drainage during this time; 3. After all the old oil has completely drained, use the wrench to install the new oil filter. Pour the appropriate amount of specification-compliant engine oil into the oil pan, making sure to align it properly with the filler hole. If necessary, use a funnel for assistance; 4. Start the engine to check if the oil level is normal, which serves to verify there are no leaks in the lower part of the engine.
