How to Change a Tire?

When removing the tire, do not jack up the car first. After loosening the screws, locate the frame at the chassis position and use the jack to lift the side with the damaged tire. Lift the car body until the tire is about a finger's width off the ground. Take out the spare tire, align it with the screw holes, and follow the diagonal method.
Changing tires is a crucial task, especially when it comes to safety. Every time, I first find a flat spot to park, engage the parking brake, shift into Park (for automatic transmission) or first gear (for manual transmission), and open the hood to check if the engine is completely off. Then, I take out the warning triangle from the trunk and place it 50 to 100 meters behind the car to alert other drivers. The jack must also be used correctly: align it with the designated lifting points under the car and raise it slowly—don’t rush. After removing the lug nuts, I mount the new tire and tighten the nuts in a crisscross pattern to prevent wheel distortion. Finally, lower the car and tighten the nuts once more. I regularly check the spare tire’s air pressure since it’s not used often; low pressure can lead to trouble. Take it step by step, safety first. After changing, visit a repair shop to fix the original tire.
