How to Bleed Oil Brakes?
1 Answers
The steps for bleeding oil brakes: 1. Remove the entire disc brake pump, with the upper and lower pumps and the oil pipe connected together; 2. When the exhaust port is tightly sealed, raise the lower pump and lower the upper pump; 3. When the upper pump is lowered, it should still be placed in the same direction as when installed on the vehicle (do not reverse it), then continuously press the brake; 4. After approximately every fifty to sixty presses, loosen the exhaust port (note: when the brake is released, loosen the exhaust port, then slowly press and release the brake lever. Press it all the way down and do not release it (if released, air may be sucked back into the oil pipe). Wait until the exhaust port is fully tightened before releasing. At this point, you will generally see oil and bubbles coming out of the exhaust port; 5. If the effect is not good or if the air is not completely removed, repeat steps 2-6.
