How to adjust when the car is not straight during parking?

If the car body is not straight after entering the parking space, it will result in one side being wider and the other narrower. Observe through the rearview mirror and adjust according to the principle of "steering towards the wider side". If moving forward and noticing the car body leaning to one side, turn the steering wheel in the opposite direction, and return the same amount after turning.
As a veteran taxi driver with 15 years of experience, let me tell you, don't panic if your car is parked crookedly. First, shift to D gear and move forward half a meter to leave room for steering. Keep an eye on the rearview mirror to compare the distance on both sides. If the left side is narrower, turn the steering wheel 90 degrees to the left, and vice versa. Then switch to reverse gear and slowly back up, making sure to straighten the steering wheel in time. When the car body is almost aligned, it's advisable to stop and make corrections, so the wheels can straighten out. If the reverse camera image is severely skewed, you can make slight adjustments two or three more times. Remember, each steering correction should not exceed half a turn, as moving too quickly can easily lead to scraping the wall. After adjusting, check if the doors open properly, or you might have to move the car again.
