How to adjust valves on a 4-cylinder engine?

Method for adjusting valves on a 4-cylinder engine: Rotate cylinder 1 to the compression top dead center aligned with the 0 mark or the pointer on the timing gear housing. Adjust the intake and exhaust valves of cylinder 1, the intake valve of cylinder 2, and the exhaust valve of cylinder 3. Then rotate 360 degrees and adjust the exhaust valve of cylinder 2, the intake valve of cylinder 3, and the intake and exhaust valves of cylinder 4. During engine operation, since the valves work under high temperatures, components like valves elongate due to thermal expansion. Therefore, a certain valve clearance must be reserved when the valves are cold to ensure tight contact between the valve and valve seat even when thermally expanded. Due to prolonged operation, the original valve clearance may change. When a tapping noise from the valves is heard, the valve clearance should be inspected and adjusted.
