Adjusting the time on the Qashqai dashboard involves the following steps: 1. Turn the ignition switch to the 'on' position to display the digital clock; 2. With the clock displayed on the dashboard, press the adjustment knob; 3. Use the clock adjustment knob to select between 24-hour or AM/PM display modes. The Qashqai has a body size of: length 4401mm, width 1837mm, height 1593mm, with a wheelbase of 2646mm and a fuel tank capacity of 57 liters. It is equipped with a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine, with a maximum power speed of 6000 rpm and a maximum torque speed of 4400 rpm, paired with a CVT continuously variable transmission.

As a long-time Qashqai owner, I just adjusted the time last week. For post-2019 Qashqai models, there are three rows of buttons on the left side of the steering wheel: up/down arrows on the left, a back button in the middle, and a circular menu button on the right. First press the circular button to activate the dashboard menu, then use the up/down arrows to navigate to clock settings, and finally long-press the circular button for two seconds to enter adjustment mode. Remember to press it once more to confirm after adjustment. Older Qashqai models are different - for mid/low trims, you need to simultaneously press two small knobs on the dashboard for 10 seconds until the numbers flash, then use the knobs to rotate and adjust. Note that time adjustment in newer models will disconnect Bluetooth for 30 seconds - don't panic. Some higher-trim models now feature automatic network time synchronization, but during heavy rain when signals are poor, manual adjustment might still be necessary.

This operation was frequently taught to customers while working at the 4S dealership. Actually, adjusting the time on the Qashqai involves two steps: First, wake up the settings menu. For the newer models, use the cross-key on the left side of the steering wheel to enter the menu options; for the older models, you need to turn on the ignition and repeatedly press the small stalk on the instrument panel. Second, adjust the values. For newer models, use the right steering wheel button to toggle between hours and minutes, while older models require precise calculation of the stalk pressing duration. The 2015 model has a special operation: turn the key to the ON position without starting the engine, then press the trip reset button three times within 15 seconds to unlock the hidden menu. However, remember that performing this operation with power on will reset the odometer! It's recommended to drive around for a while after adjustment to confirm if the clock is keeping accurate time.

The new Qashqai makes time adjustment much more convenient than the old model. In the current version, simply press the menu activation button on the right side of the steering wheel → use the directional keys to find the clock settings → long-press the OK button until the numbers flash → short-press the left/right keys to toggle between hours and minutes → rotate the volume knob to adjust the numbers → finally press OK to save. The entire process takes just 30 seconds to complete, and your fingers never need to leave the steering wheel. Note that this must be done while the engine is running, otherwise the settings won't save. The old model was quite troublesome - you had to use a toothpick to poke the small hole on the left side of the instrument panel and count the number of button presses to adjust the numbers. If you made a mistake, the central display navigation time would also get messed up.
