How to adjust the time on the Corolla dashboard?

Method to adjust the time on the Corolla dashboard: For older Corolla models, there are two small black knobs on the dashboard, the left one can be used to adjust the time; for newer Corolla models, there is a reset button on the right. When the time is displayed, press and hold for three seconds, the hour display will flash, press briefly to adjust the hour, then press and hold for three seconds again, the minute display will flash, press briefly to adjust the minutes. The Corolla is a compact sedan under Toyota, equipped with newly developed 1.6-liter and 1.8-liter engines featuring dual VVTi technology. The car measures 4635mm in length, 1780mm in width, and 1455mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2700mm, and is a four-door, five-seater sedan.
I encountered this issue when driving my Corolla, and adjusting the time is actually quite simple. After starting the car, look at the button area on the left side of the steering wheel on the dashboard. Press the menu button to bring up the settings options, then scroll to find the clock adjustment option and enter it. You can use your finger to turn the scroll wheel to adjust the hours, confirm, and then proceed to adjust the minutes. The whole process takes about two minutes, but make sure to do it while parked for safety. Keep in mind that Corollas from different years have slightly different settings. Newer models like those from 2020 onwards have more advanced dashboards, while older models might require using the center console screen or a combination of button presses. If the time is inaccurate and not adjusted, it might affect trip records, so I always make it a habit to regularly check the battery voltage to avoid time jumps.
