How to Adjust the Steering Wheel on a Mercedes-Benz?

Ensure that the seat parameters have been fully adjusted to a reasonable position. Only after the seat is properly adjusted can you proceed to the steering wheel adjustment step. Manually, there is a lever right below the steering column. Pull it downward once. On the left side of the steering column, there are three control levers. Adjust by pulling the shortest lever up, down, forward, or backward.
Adjusting the steering wheel of a Mercedes-Benz is actually quite simple. Most Mercedes-Benz models have a silver adjustment lever below or on the left side of the steering wheel. You just need to push the lever all the way down to unlock the steering wheel, allowing you to adjust its height and telescopic position for comfort. When adjusting, make sure the instrument panel isn’t obstructed and maintain a fist’s distance between your knees and the steering wheel. Once adjusted, push the lever back up to lock it. However, for high-end models like the S-Class, the adjustment is controlled via an electric button—simply locate the steering wheel icon button near the memory seat controls on the center console to make adjustments.
