I've been driving a Buick LaCrosse for almost three years and have figured out the seat adjustments quite well. The silver panel on the left side of the driver's seat is the control area. The long button at the front moves the seat forward when pushed and backward when pulled. The small lever above is particularly crucial—pushing it up raises the seat, pressing it down lowers the seat, tilting it forward lifts the front of the seat, and pulling it back lowers the rear of the seat, which is great for thigh support. The backrest angle is controlled by the separate lever at the back. The lumbar support adjustment is on the round button on the side—pressing up, down, left, or right adjusts the lumbar support strength. After setting your preferred position, hold the memory button (usually labeled SET) and press 1 or 2 to save the settings. If someone else messes with your seat, just press the corresponding number button to automatically restore your settings—it's really convenient.

I remember being confused the first time I drove a Buick LaCrosse, but later I found out that the power seat adjustment is super simple. Once seated in the driver's seat, you'll see a set of buttons on the left side of the seat. The long rectangular button at the front is specifically for forward and backward movement—just push or pull it. In the middle section, there's a four-way button: up and down adjust the overall seat height, while forward and back adjust the height difference between the front and rear of the seat. The backrest control is a separate small lever at the back, which is very straightforward to operate. If the model is equipped with lumbar support, there's also a small round button nearby that can adjust the support intensity in different directions. After adjusting, it's recommended to use the memory function to save the position. When someone else drives, simply press the preset button to restore the settings instantly. The passenger seat adjustment is similar, with buttons located on the outer side of the seat, allowing adjustments for forward/backward and height, but it doesn't have the memory function.

What to Do About Worn Brake Pads?

Brake pads are consumable items and need to be replaced in a timely manner. Below is a detailed introduction to brake pads: 1. Introduction to brake pad wear: The replacement cycle for brake pads and brake discs is not fixed and depends on the vehicle's driving conditions, the frequency and force with which the driver presses the brake pedal. Generally, conventional brake pads should be replaced every 25,000 to 30,000 kilometers driven. 2. Brake pad wear replacement: Brake shoes consist of two parts: the iron backing plate and the friction material. It is essential to replace them with the original manufacturer's spare parts to ensure the best braking effect between the brake pads and discs, achieving minimal wear. After replacing the brake shoes, it is crucial to press the brake pedal several times to eliminate the gap between the shoes and the brake disc, preventing potential accidents.
