How to Adjust the Seat Forward and Backward?
1 Answers
Lift the adjustment handle located at the lower right side of the seat to release the locking mechanism, allowing the seat to move forward and backward. Once the desired position is achieved, release the handle to secure the seat in place. The correct seat height should be adjusted so that the driver's view is not obstructed by the steering wheel, and all important gauges and street signs are clearly visible. Additional relevant information is as follows: Note 1: The hips should be positioned as far back as possible, ideally touching both the seat cushion and the backrest, ensuring a stable and secure seating position without wobbling. After sitting firmly, pay attention to the placement of your hands and feet. Place your left and right hands at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions on the steering wheel, respectively. At this time, your back should not leave the backrest. If it does, it indicates that you are sitting too far back, and the seat must be moved forward. Note 2: The position of your left and right feet should allow your legs to remain slightly bent even when the pedals are fully depressed. If your legs are straight when the pedals are fully pressed, the seat must be moved forward slightly. It is important to ensure that your knees do not touch the steering column, maintaining a certain distance to avoid affecting foot movement and reaction time.
