How to Adjust the Rearview Mirror Position?

Place the horizontal line at the center line of the rearview mirror, then adjust the edge of the car body to occupy a quarter of the mirror's image. Place the horizontal line at two-thirds of the rearview mirror's height, then adjust the edge of the car body to occupy a quarter of the mirror's image. Adjust the left and right position so that the left edge of the mirror just shows the right ear of the driver in the reflection.
I have my own method for adjusting the rearview mirrors. After getting in the car, I first settle into the driver's seat and fix the seatback and steering wheel positions. The left mirror should be adjusted so that the car body occupies one-quarter of the view from the driver's seat, with the distant horizon at the center of the mirror. The right mirror is a bit more complicated—the car body also takes up one-quarter of the space, but I intentionally angle it slightly downward to show more of the ground, making it easier to see the curb when reversing. The interior rearview mirror is simple—just align it with the rear window. Before every long trip, I make it a habit to check these angles, especially since frequent lane changes on highways directly impact safety. Once, I tried attaching small convex mirrors to the side mirrors, and they really reduced the blind spots significantly.
