How to Adjust the Rearview Mirror on the Highlander?
1 Answers
The Highlander has an adjustment button near the driver's knee area. The adjustment lever, located roughly at the upper right of the door (symmetrical on both sides), can be toggled to adjust the rearview mirror. Below are the methods for adjusting the mirrors: 1. Adjust the horizon reflection in the rearview mirror to the 2/3 height of the mirror, and adjust the reflection of the right side of the car to occupy the left 1/4 area of the mirror. Having more ground reflection in the right rearview mirror helps the driver better understand the road conditions on the right side of the vehicle and makes it easier to gauge the distance between the car body and the curb when parking. 2. For the left exterior rearview mirror of the Toyota Highlander, adjust the horizon reflection to the center of the mirror and the reflection of the left side of the car to occupy the right 1/4 area of the mirror.
