Odometer adjustment methods: 1. For mechanical odometers, you need to remove the instrument panel and adjust the mechanical gears to change the mileage; 2. For LCD display odometers, simply modify the corresponding mileage data in the microcontroller to calibrate the instrument, but this usually requires professional operation. The car odometer includes two LCD digital display windows connected to the same signal source, which respectively accumulate the current trip mileage and the total mileage. The current trip mileage usually has four digits for short-term counting, while the total mileage has six digits. The accumulated mileage numbers of electronic odometers are stored in non-volatile memory, so the data can be preserved even without power.
