How to adjust the incorrect time display on Honda XR-V?

The clock displayed on the car dashboard is merely an auxiliary function and does not maintain high precision. When discrepancies occur, it can be adjusted at any time. The adjustment button is located on the small protruding knob of the instrument panel. A short press toggles between time and mileage display. When the time is displayed, press and hold for 3 seconds. When the hour digits start flashing, use short presses to adjust the hour. Then press and hold for 3 seconds again until the minute digits flash, and use short presses to adjust the minutes. Finally, either press and hold for 3 seconds or do nothing to resume normal time display.
I previously drove a Honda XR-V and also encountered the issue of the clock running slow. Adjusting the time is actually quite simple: after turning on the ignition, check the dashboard or the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. Look for the menu button, usually labeled with 'DISP', and press and hold it to enter the settings options. Then select the time menu and use the directional keys to adjust the hours and minutes. Once adjusted, press OK to confirm, and it's usually done in one go. I make it a habit to check this regularly because an inaccurate clock can affect recording travel times, especially during long trips. If manual setting seems too troublesome, some models can connect to GPS for automatic time calibration. Finally, a reminder: significant clock errors might be a sign of battery aging, so it's advisable to check the battery condition to avoid sudden failure. In short, try doing it yourself; it only takes a few minutes to fix.
