How to Adjust the Height Standard of Car High and Low Beams?

Headlights can be adjusted vertically by manually operating the electronic switch. Depress the brake pedal of the Audi A6 to prepare for turning on the vehicle's power. Press the one-touch start button of the Audi A6. The dashboard of the Audi A6 lights up, and the vehicle's power is turned on. Rotate the headlight height adjustment wheel of the Audi A6. Upward rotation raises the headlights, while downward rotation lowers them. When rotating the wheel, the headlights of the Audi A6 will move up and down accordingly. The headlights of the Audi A6 cannot be adjusted by mechanical means.
I have experience with adjusting car headlight height. At first, when driving at night, oncoming cars kept flashing me, and I later realized it was because my headlights were too high and shining into their eyes. The adjustment is actually quite simple. Many cars have a knob or switch on the left side of the cabin, marked with numbers from 0 to 3, representing different heights—0 is the highest, suitable for an empty car, and 3 is the lowest, suitable for a fully loaded state. First, park on a flat surface, 3 to 5 meters away from a wall, turn on the low beams, and check if the center of the light spot is about 0.5 meters above the ground. If it's too high, try adjusting it to the lowest setting. For manual adjustment, open the hood, and there’s a screw behind the headlight that can be turned with a screwdriver. Remember to check regularly, especially before long road trips, to ensure safety and compliance. If not adjusted properly, you could face fines or even accidents. After each adjustment, I feel much more at ease driving at night, knowing the light won’t blind oncoming drivers.
