Loosen the two screws on the left and right sides of the headlight, then tilt the headlight up and down. If the headlight is fixed, it can be adjusted using the adjustment screws at the back of the headlight. Typically, there is one on each side—one for adjusting height and the other for adjusting left and right.

Last time I adjusted my motorcycle headlight myself, it was quite a hassle. The key is to first find a flat wall as a reference. Stop the bike about 5 meters from the wall, turn on the low beam, and observe the position of the light spot. Generally, there's a white knob with gears or a hex screw hole on the back of the headlight. Just insert a Phillips screwdriver and turn it slowly. Remember, turning clockwise raises the beam, while counterclockwise lowers it. When adjusting, make sure the center of the light spot is about 10 cm lower than the height of the headlight cover. This way, you won't blind oncoming traffic at night and can still see the road 20-30 meters ahead. After adjustment, remember to test it on the road—make sure the light doesn't point upward when going downhill. Don't use excessive force when doing it yourself; if the plastic gears strip, it'll be troublesome. It's best to adjust it with the engine off to avoid burning your hands.

Does stalling during the motorcycle break-in period damage the engine?

Stalling during the motorcycle break-in period definitely causes some damage, but it shouldn't happen frequently. For beginners starting off: Hold the clutch, engage first gear; Gradually release the clutch while increasing the throttle slightly; Once the bike starts moving, stop releasing the clutch further. After the bike has moved about 1 meter, continue releasing the clutch or listen to the engine sound. When the engine sound normalizes and no longer sounds strained, fully release the remaining clutch. If the speed hasn't built up yet - when you've already started moving at half-clutch but the speed isn't sufficient - if you release the clutch completely in one smooth motion past the half-clutch point, the engine will stall. When at half-clutch, stabilize the clutch lever - don't release it further, just hold it steady. The motorcycle will naturally move forward. First twist the throttle to increase engine RPM, then release the clutch to the half-clutch point and stabilize it - this ensures smooth starting without stalling. Releasing the clutch isn't a linear process; you don't have to release it in one continuous motion at any speed. Remember: stabilize. The clutch operation is an intermittent process, not a linear one.

What are the switches on the steering wheel for?

1. Models without automatic headlight adjustment feature a manual adjustment knob. After turning on the low beams, pushing the turn signal lever forward switches to high beams, while pulling it back flashes the high beams once (commonly known as "flashing lights"), a technique many drivers use during encounters with oncoming vehicles. 2. The turn signal operates with a downward movement for left turns and upward for right turns. The button on the left controls the trip computer, allowing selection of displays such as fuel consumption or remaining range. Some premium models feature a lane assist system on the turn signal lever, which monitors the road ahead and alerts the driver through steering wheel vibrations when the vehicle deviates from its lane. 3. Multifunction buttons on the steering wheel typically facilitate driver operations like volume adjustment and menu selection. Models equipped with car phones may also place call answer/end and microphone buttons on the steering wheel. 4. The right side of the steering wheel houses wiper controls. Adjustment involves pushing the lever up/down according to the icons, with speed adjustable based on rainfall intensity. Pulling the lever toward the driver activates windshield washer fluid. Models with rear wipers can also be adjusted here using identical controls.

What are the causes of squeaking noise when a Prado turns?

There are three main causes of squeaking noise when a Prado turns. Wear and failure of the outer CV joint of the drive shaft: The outer CV joint of a car's drive shaft can wear out and fail after prolonged use. If issues arise with it, this can easily cause a clicking sound when the vehicle turns. The outer CV joint mainly consists of an inner and outer joint. When problems occur with the outer CV joint of the drive shaft, leading to a clicking sound during turns, it should be promptly repaired or replaced. Over-turning the steering wheel: The steering wheel is one of the most important components of a car. When turning the steering wheel, the force applied should be adjusted according to the size of the curve. Always turning the steering wheel too sharply can cause a clicking sound when the vehicle turns. Some drivers often turn the steering wheel all the way, regardless of the curve's size, which can easily lead to a clicking sound during turns. Clutch issues: The clutch is extremely important for a car as it determines the vehicle's basic driving speed. Clutch failure can also cause a clicking sound when the vehicle turns. Since the clutch is crucial, it is essential to use high-quality clutch products. If it is determined that the clicking sound during turns is due to clutch failure, the clutch can be replaced at a repair shop.
