How to Adjust the Height of a Motorcycle Headlight?

Loosen the two screws on the left and right sides of the headlight, then tilt the headlight up and down. If the headlight is fixed, it can be adjusted using the adjustment screws at the back of the headlight. Typically, there is one on each side—one for adjusting height and the other for adjusting left and right.
Last time I adjusted my motorcycle headlight myself, it was quite a hassle. The key is to first find a flat wall as a reference. Stop the bike about 5 meters from the wall, turn on the low beam, and observe the position of the light spot. Generally, there's a white knob with gears or a hex screw hole on the back of the headlight. Just insert a Phillips screwdriver and turn it slowly. Remember, turning clockwise raises the beam, while counterclockwise lowers it. When adjusting, make sure the center of the light spot is about 10 cm lower than the height of the headlight cover. This way, you won't blind oncoming traffic at night and can still see the road 20-30 meters ahead. After adjustment, remember to test it on the road—make sure the light doesn't point upward when going downhill. Don't use excessive force when doing it yourself; if the plastic gears strip, it'll be troublesome. It's best to adjust it with the engine off to avoid burning your hands.
