It is not possible to adjust the heavy steering wheel of the Leiling. If it becomes heavier, it is recommended to go to a 4S store for inspection and repair to check if there is any issue. As one of the most important control parts of the vehicle, the steering wheel is connected to many aspects. On the other hand, faults in many areas can also be reflected through the steering wheel. Reasons for a heavier steering wheel: whether the power steering fluid is insufficient or needs to be replaced, or whether the front wheel alignment needs adjustment. The Leiling is a compact sedan based on Toyota's MC platform, deeply customized for Chinese consumers. Its body dimensions are 4640mm in length, 1780mm in width, and 1455mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2700mm. I make it a habit to regularly clean the sensor areas. The driving mode affects steering feel too; switching from Sport to Comfort mode makes the steering lighter. If none of these solutions work, it might be due to worn steering column bearings, in which case a visit to a specialized repair shop is necessary—don't wait until it becomes a bigger issue. Developing a habit of checking tire pressure monthly and performing minor maintenance makes driving much smoother.
