I've been driving a Honda Fit for several years and often adjust the headlights myself. Simply put, it's a two-step process. First, there's an in-car operation: a roller wheel on the left side of the steering wheel allows for minor height adjustments, but its effect is limited. Then, pop the hood—you'll find adjustment screws for up, down, left, and right on the back of the headlight assembly. Just turn them with a Phillips screwdriver. The key is to do this on level ground, aiming at a wall at night to reference the beam height. Don't set them too high to avoid dazzling other drivers, or too low to ensure road visibility. I usually test the adjustment by driving a short distance afterward to ensure safe nighttime visibility. It's not difficult—just take your time, and don't overtighten the screws to avoid stripping them.
