Baojun 510 headlight adjustment steps: 1. Find a wall, ensure the ground is flat, and park the car about 10 meters away from the wall; 2. Measure the height from the ground to the center of the headlights and the distance between the two headlights; 3. Post a horizontal masking tape on the wall 0.1 meters lower than the headlights, ensuring the tape is centered directly in front of the car; 4. Turn on the headlights; 5. Adjust the vertical adjustment screw until the headlight beam is centered on the tape on the wall; 6. Continue adjusting the vertical adjustment screw until the headlight beam is straight forward. To ensure the adjustment is correct, measure the height of the beam on the wall and the height of the headlights, ensuring both values are equal; 7. After adjustment, sit in the car to check if the desired effect is achieved. The dimensions of the Baojun 510 are 4220mm in length, 1740mm in width, and 1615mm in height.
When I first bought the Baojun 510, I also wondered how to adjust the headlights. The process is actually quite simple. There's a small wheel on the left side of the steering wheel specifically for adjusting the headlight height. Park on a flat surface, like a few meters in front of a garage wall, turn on the lights, and if the beam is too high, turn the wheel counterclockwise to lower it; if it's too low, turn it clockwise to raise it. Adjust until the beam is level and not glaring. This step is crucial—if set too high, you'll blind other drivers at night, and if too low, you won't see the road clearly. Once, I didn’t adjust it properly and almost had an accident on the road. Check them regularly, and replace them if they age. Manual adjustment is usually enough—simple and cost-effective. Just remember not to twist it randomly; take it slow and prioritize safety.
