How to Adjust the Gear Switch on a Peugeot 307?

Loosen the fixing screw of the gear switch and place the gear lever in the N position. Some automatic transmissions have a reference line engraved on the gear switch housing. During adjustment, align this reference line with the notch on the manual valve rocker shaft. Once the gear switch position is properly adjusted, secure it in place. Move the gear lever through all positions and check if the gear indicator light matches the gear lever position.
