How to Adjust the Front and Back Position of an Electric Car Seat?
1 Answers
To adjust the front and back position of an electric car seat, lift the adjustment handle located at the lower right side of the seat to release the locking mechanism. The seat can then be moved forward or backward. Once the desired position is achieved, release the adjustment handle to lock the seat in place. When adjusting the seat, pay attention to the relationship between your arms and the steering wheel, as well as your legs and the accelerator, clutch, and brake pedals. The ideal seat position is when your arms are stretched straight forward with your wrists resting just above the top edge of the steering wheel, ensuring flexibility in steering. Your knees should be slightly bent when the pedals are fully depressed. If the seat is too far back, it may lead to inaccurate operation during emergency braking, increasing the risk of rear-end collisions. Conversely, if the seat is too close, your body may be too near the steering wheel, which could cause severe injuries in emergency situations.
