How to Adjust Passat Seats?
1 Answers
The Passat seats come with both electric and manual adjustment options. For electric adjustment, there is a small module on the left side of the seat shaped like the seat itself. Pushing it up, down, forward, or backward allows you to find a comfortable position. For manual adjustment, the front and back adjustment is controlled by a pull handle located under the seat on the right side. Lift the handle and push the seat forward or backward. The height adjustment for the seat cushion is done via a lever on the left side of the seat that can be pulled up or pushed down to adjust the height. Here’s more about car seat adjustments: 1. The backrest can be adjusted using a knob on the left side of the seat. Turn it clockwise or counterclockwise to move the backrest forward or backward. 2. The lumbar support adjustment is located on the left side of the backrest. There’s a pull handle—push it forward or backward to feel the lumbar support change. 3. For a standard driving position, place your hands at the 12 o'clock position on the steering wheel with your arms comfortably extended. Your legs should be slightly bent, allowing your right foot to comfortably reach the brake and accelerator pedals. 4. If the steering wheel position feels uncomfortable, it can also be adjusted. Simply press down on the handle located under the steering wheel near the steering column, and then adjust the steering wheel up, down, forward, or backward as needed.
