How to Adjust Electric Rearview Mirrors?

Rearview mirror adjustment steps: Locate the electric adjustment button on the left door. Observe the white dot on the adjustment button and the letters beside it: L stands for the left rearview mirror, and R stands for the right rearview mirror. To adjust the angle of the left rearview mirror, rotate the adjustment knob's white dot to the L position. Lift the knob upwards to change the mirror's viewing angle upwards; similarly, press the knob downwards to adjust the viewing angle downwards. When adjusting the viewing angle of electric rearview mirrors, you can use the electric button inside the car, which is usually designed on the left side of the steering wheel. This button can adjust both the left and right rearview mirrors. In narrow road sections, the mirrors can be folded and retracted to improve the vehicle's maneuverability.
The first time I drove a car with electric mirrors, it took me a while to figure it out. There's actually a small button on the left side or in the middle of the steering wheel that you press to select either the left or right mirror. Then, you use the joystick or the up-down-left-right buttons to adjust the position slowly. Don’t do this while driving—stop and focus on adjusting, otherwise, it’s easy to get distracted and cause an accident. I sit in the driver’s seat, adjust the left mirror first so that I can see a bit of the rear wheel and the road from the driver’s perspective, then adjust the right mirror the same way. After adjusting, test it a few times because newly installed mirrors might not be perfectly aligned. Although the process is simple, if not adjusted properly, blind spots can appear at night, which is quite dangerous. So, I make it a habit to check them monthly to ensure clear visibility.
