How to Adjust Car Seats?

There are two main aspects to adjusting car seats: 1. Front and rear seat adjustment. (1) Adjust the seat's front and rear position so that the body is at an appropriate distance from the steering wheel, clutch pedal, brake pedal, and accelerator pedal. This ensures convenient and agile steering wheel operation with both hands, as well as free and flexible leg movement. (2) Adjustment method: Lift the adjustment handle located at the lower right of the seat to release the locking mechanism. The seat can then be moved forward or backward. Once the desired position is achieved, release the adjustment handle to lock the seat in place. 2. Backrest angle adjustment. (1) Adjust the seat backrest angle so that it supports the lower back. When leaning back, avoid leaving the lower back unsupported to reduce fatigue during driving. (2) Adjustment method: Rotate the adjustment knob on the left side of the seat according to your body size, with a maximum tilt of 1-2 segments. During adjustment, use your back's strength to change the backrest angle until your palms can comfortably rest on the top of the steering wheel.
I recently figured out how to adjust the manual seats in my car. There's a long lever under the driver's seat—pull it up firmly while sliding your hips forward or backward to move the seat. On the left side of the seat, there's a large round knob: turning it clockwise tilts the backrest forward, while turning it counterclockwise reclines it. Adjust it to the most comfortable angle for long drives to avoid back pain. If the seating position feels too low and you can't see the hood, some cars have another lever on the left side of the seat—lifting it raises the entire seat height, which works even better when paired with steering wheel height adjustment. The passenger seat usually only has forward/backward and backrest adjustments. There's also an emergency kit hidden in the trunk, though that's unrelated to seat adjustments. The key is to find a position where you don’t have to stretch your toes to reach the brake and your knees are slightly bent.
