How to Add BMW Digital Key to iPhone?

Ensure the car is linked to the account provided by the car manufacturer. Then follow the relevant instructions to set up the key, and the app will subsequently transfer it to Apple Wallet. Tap "Continue". Follow the on-screen instructions, place the iPhone on the key reader, and wait for the iPhone and car to pair.
I helped a friend with this before. First, make sure your BMW is an iD7 model produced after July 2020 and has the Premium ConnectedDrive package. Open the Apple Wallet app, tap the plus sign in the top right corner, select 'Car Key', and then tap continue. At this point, you'll need to place the two devices close together—lay your phone horizontally on the car's wireless charging pad and wait for the activation code to appear on the central display. After entering this code on your phone, you'll need to verify with Face ID or Touch ID. Finally, an animation saying 'Digital Key Activated' will appear on the central display. The whole process takes about five minutes, and now my friend leaves the physical key at home. Oh, and it supports iPhone XR and later models with iOS 15 or above.
I've been through this! First, check if the digital key service is activated in your vehicle's system. You can find this under 'Digital Services' on the 'Vehicle' page in the My BMW App. If the binding fails, it's most likely because the NFC on your phone is turned off—swipe up to the control center, long-press the network block, and tap the NFC icon to turn it on. Key point: Make sure to turn off Bluetooth and WiFi on your phone during the binding process, as they can interfere with signal transmission. Last time, it took me three attempts to succeed, and I realized it was because the car's WiFi was automatically connecting. After successful binding, remember to enable 'Express Mode' in your phone's wallet—just tap the door handle with your phone in your pocket to unlock.
