To activate Volvo CleanZone: 1. Close all vehicle doors, windows, and the trunk lid to ensure the vehicle is sealed; 2. After turning on the air conditioning, switch it to external circulation mode. CleanZone will automatically activate based on signals from the cabin air quality sensor. I've been driving a Volvo for two years now, and I hardly ever need to manually activate the CleanZone feature. When starting the vehicle, it automatically runs for about 60 seconds for pre-purification, with exceptionally fast air exchange. Manual operation is simple too—just open the climate menu on the central display, find the blue leaf icon, and press it. The system continuously monitors air quality and automatically boosts filtration in tunnels or during smoggy days. I particularly love using it on long drives—it filters out over 95% of PM2.5 and pollen, leaving the cabin as fresh as a Nordic forest. Just remember to replace the cabin air filter annually, or even the best system won't perform well.
