How to Activate Voice Control in Mercedes-Benz?

Mercedes-Benz voice function is triggered by a button with a small person icon located on the right side of the steering wheel, which serves as the voice control activation key. Press the voice control activation key to enable voice commands for controlling navigation, radio, phone calls, air conditioning, weather queries, windows, and audio functions.
Back when I drove a Mercedes-Benz C-Class, I found activating voice commands incredibly simple. There's a button with a microphone icon on the left side of the steering wheel - just press it to start speaking. If you're driving a newer model with MBUX system, saying 'Hey Mercedes' will also get an instant response. Adjusting temperature, setting navigation, or making calls can all be done by voice, which is great during traffic jams when you shouldn't be distracted by poking screens. Just be aware of noisy environments - last time during rain with windows down, it took three shouts before the system responded. Most post-2020 models support this feature. You can even customize the wake word in the infotainment settings, though I never bothered with it.
