How to Activate the Parking Assist System in a Mercedes-Benz?

When the car comes to a complete stop, do not release the brake pedal. Instead, press the brake pedal further down (until it cannot be pressed any further). The word "HOLD" will appear on the instrument screen, indicating that the parking assist is activated. At this point, you can release the brake.
I've always found the parking assist system in Mercedes-Benz cars incredibly convenient. When driving my Mercedes C-Class, to activate it, I simply look for the button near the center console with a P symbol or labeled Park Assist, give it a gentle press, and it's on. The system uses cameras and sensors to scan for parking spaces, then selects either parallel parking or perpendicular parking. While driving at low speed, the system handles the steering, while I control the accelerator and brakes. This makes parking much easier, especially in tight urban parking spaces. It's also important to keep the cameras clean from dirt and avoid driving too fast, otherwise the system may pause. Overall, it feels very reliable, and Mercedes has done a lot of optimization with this technology, making parking a breeze even for beginners.
