Emgrand one-touch window lift activation method: 1. The new Emgrand is equipped with one-touch window lift and lower functions. To lift the window, insert your finger into the groove of the window button on the inner side of each door, hook the button and pull upward. Hold for 2 seconds to automatically lift the window to the top. 2. To lower the window, press the window button on the inner side of each door downward and hold for 2 seconds to automatically lower the window to the bottom. 3. If the engine is turned off and the doors are locked, and you remember outside the car that you forgot to close all 4 windows to the top, you can press and hold the lock button on the smart key for more than 2 seconds, and the car windows will automatically close to the top. This is called one-touch remote window lift. The new Emgrand has this feature.

I've been driving an Emgrand for five years, and the one-touch window roll-up feature is incredibly practical. Activating it is a breeze: just press and hold the lock button on the remote key for about three seconds until you hear a 'beep' prompt, and the windows will automatically roll all the way up. However, details may vary slightly depending on the Emgrand model. Mine is a 2021 manual transmission, and I had to first go into the 'Vehicle Control' settings menu on the in-car central screen to enable the one-touch window roll-up option before it would work. When activating, make sure to stand within one meter of the car, otherwise the signal won't be received. If there's no response, first check if the remote battery has enough power—try replacing it with a new one. Or verify that you're pressing the correct lock button (usually the big middle button). A common mistake beginners make is pressing the button too quickly or for too short a time; you need to hold it down for a few seconds for it to work. This little trick is a lifesaver when parking in the rain or if you forget to close the windows—I learned the hard way when my car got soaked once, but now that I'm used to it, it's super convenient. The car also comes with an anti-theft feature that activates simultaneously, helping deter thieves, but always make sure no one is near the car before rolling up the windows—safety first.

What are the differences between China VI and China V emission standards?

The differences between China V and China VI emission standards are as follows: Different emission standards: China VI emission standards are more than 30% stricter than China V. Excluding the influence of operating conditions and testing, gasoline vehicles' carbon monoxide emissions are reduced by 50%, total hydrocarbons and non-methane hydrocarbons emissions are reduced by 50%, and nitrogen oxide emissions are reduced by 42%. Different implementation times: The China V standard was implemented nationwide on January 1, 2017. China VI has been implemented since July 1, 2019. Different principles: During the China V phase, diesel and gasoline vehicles had different emission standards. However, China VI adopts a fuel-neutral principle, meaning the emission limits are the same regardless of the fuel type. Different issuing departments: The China V standard was issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection. The China VI standard was issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection, and Quarantine. Different letter representations: China V is represented by 'V', while China VI is represented by 'VI'. Different monitoring requirements for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles: Compared to China V, China VI has improved monitoring requirements for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, including energy storage systems, thermal management systems, brake regeneration, drive motors, generators, and other regulations. China V standard limits are as follows: Gasoline vehicles must not emit more than 1,000 mg of carbon monoxide per kilometer driven. Gasoline vehicles must not emit more than 68 mg of non-methane hydrocarbons per kilometer driven. Gasoline vehicles must not emit more than 60 mg of nitrogen oxides per kilometer driven. Gasoline vehicles must not emit more than 4.5 mg of PM (particulate matter) per kilometer driven. China VI has two standards: China VIa and China VIb. Their limits are as follows: China VIa standard limits: Gasoline vehicles must not emit more than 700 mg of carbon monoxide per kilometer driven. China VIb standard limits: Gasoline vehicles must not emit more than 500 mg of carbon monoxide per kilometer driven. Gasoline vehicles must not emit more than 35 mg of non-methane hydrocarbons per kilometer driven. Gasoline vehicles must not emit more than 35 mg of nitrogen oxides per kilometer driven. Gasoline vehicles must not emit more than 3 mg of PM (particulate matter) per kilometer driven. Affected by the China VI emission policy, although China V vehicles are not currently restricted from normal use, such as driving bans or license plate restrictions, their resale value will be significantly impacted. For car owners, if they purchase a truck for freight transport with a loan, the vehicle's depreciation after paying off the loan is equivalent to the net profit earned during that period. A higher residual value means the owner earns more. Therefore, from this perspective, China VI vehicles, which have a longer service life and more road rights, are more advantageous.

Does the Lynk & Co 02 Use a Three-Cylinder Engine?

The 1.5T version of the Lynk & Co 02 is equipped with a three-cylinder engine, model JLH-3G15TDC, delivering a maximum horsepower of 156, maximum power of 115kW, and maximum torque of 245Nm. The 2.0T version features a four-cylinder engine, model B4204T30, with a maximum horsepower of 190, maximum power of 140kW, and maximum torque of 300Nm. The Lynk & Co 02 engine was technologically developed by the Volvo Car Group and is manufactured at the Volvo Car Group's Zhangjiakou engine plant, making it a domestically produced engine. For daily maintenance of the Lynk & Co 02 engine, the following methods can be employed: Use lubricating oil of the appropriate quality grade. For gasoline engines, select SD--SF grade gasoline engine oil based on the additional equipment of the intake and exhaust systems and usage conditions; for diesel engines, choose CB--CD grade diesel engine oil according to mechanical load, with the selection standard not lower than the manufacturer's specified requirements; Regularly change the oil and oil filter. The quality of any grade of lubricating oil will change during use. After a certain mileage, its performance deteriorates, leading to various engine issues. To prevent malfunctions, change the oil periodically according to usage conditions and maintain an appropriate oil level; As oil passes through the fine pores of the filter, solid particles and viscous substances in the oil accumulate in the filter. If the filter becomes clogged and oil cannot pass through the filter element, it may rupture the filter element or open the safety valve, allowing oil to bypass through the bypass valve and carry contaminants back to the lubrication areas, accelerating engine wear and increasing internal contamination; Regularly clean the crankcase. During engine operation, high-pressure unburned gases, acids, moisture, sulfur, and nitrogen oxides from the combustion chamber enter the crankcase through the gap between the piston rings and cylinder walls, mixing with metal particles from component wear to form sludge. Small amounts remain suspended in the oil, while larger amounts precipitate, clogging filters and oil passages, making engine lubrication difficult and causing wear; Periodically use radiator cleaner to flush the radiator. Removing rust and scale deposits not only ensures the engine operates normally but also extends the overall lifespan of the radiator and engine.

How to Measure an Oxygen Sensor?

Oxygen sensor measurement methods include: 1. Multimeter voltage measurement: Maintain engine speed at approximately 2500 rpm for about 90 seconds, then measure the voltage at the oxygen sensor signal output terminal using a multimeter; 2. Oxygen sensor tester inspection: Determine whether the sensor is functioning normally by observing the flashing pattern of the indicator lights on the oxygen sensor tester; 3. Multimeter resistance measurement: Utilize the resistance characteristics of the oxygen sensor to measure its resistance values in both warmed-up and non-warmed-up states to assess potential damage. The oxygen sensor is a crucial feedback component in electronic fuel injection engine control systems, playing a key role in controlling vehicle exhaust emissions, reducing environmental pollution, and improving fuel combustion quality in automobile engines.

Under what circumstances does the throttle body assembly need to be replaced?

There are several situations that require the replacement of the throttle body assembly: 1. The EPC light on the dashboard illuminates; 2. Difficulty starting the engine when cold; 3. Jerking when accelerating; 4. The vehicle fails to start, and diagnostic tools detect throttle damage or unreliable sensor signal faults in the engine system; 5. Frequent stalling when the vehicle is coasting; 6. Using diagnostic tools to measure the throttle opening angle to check if it is within the normal range; 7. Throttle damage caused by external factors. The throttle is a controllable valve that regulates air intake into the engine. After entering the intake pipe, the air mixes with gasoline to form a combustible mixture, which then burns to generate power.
