Here are the methods to activate the one-touch up/down window feature for the GL8: 1. Open the window (one-touch down): The one-touch window button is located on the door armrest. Press the button to the first position (pressing too hard will reach the second position), and release when the window reaches the desired position. Briefly press the switch to the second position to automatically open the window. 2. Close the window (one-touch up): Press the button upward to the first position, and release when the window reaches the desired position. Pull the button hard to the second position, and the window will automatically rise and close completely. 3. You can also control the one-touch up/down window feature using the lock and unlock buttons on the key. Press and hold the lock button for more than 3 seconds to close all windows; press and hold the unlock button for more than 3 seconds to automatically lower all four windows.

The one-touch window activation method for my GL8 is quite simple. First, roll the window all the way down by pressing the button, then hold the window-up button without releasing it until the window reaches the top and keep pressing for about 5 seconds. Next, press the window-down button to lower the window completely and hold for another 5 seconds. This completes the initialization, and the one-touch function will be activated. When I first bought this car, I also learned step by step. After activation, opening and closing the windows becomes very convenient, especially in traffic jams where one-touch operation saves effort. It also prevents misoperation that could cause the glass to jam. I recommend checking it every six months. If multiple attempts still don’t work, visit a 4S store to check the settings—it only takes about ten minutes to improve your driving experience. In short, give it a try; don’t be afraid of the hassle—it’s definitely worth it.

The data of fuel consumed is relatively difficult to obtain. Generally, a full fuel tank is used as the initial data. After driving a certain distance, refill the fuel tank, and finally use the refueling data provided by the gas station as the standard. Fuel-saving tips: Idling for more than 1 minute consumes the same amount of fuel as starting the engine once. What Questions Should You Ask When Buying a Car?

Ask about the price, discounts, additional fees, delivery time, car features, etc. The questions you should ask when buying a car are as follows: 1. The first thing to ask is definitely the price. After asking, don’t just accept the salesperson’s quote—negotiate. Before bargaining, you must have a target price in mind and avoid haggling randomly. 2. Ask about any ongoing promotions at the dealership. The discounts offered by 4S stores vary over time. A key point to note is whether these promotions come with any additional conditions. 3. Clarify any extra costs beyond the car’s price. After settling on the base price, ask if there are other fees, such as service charges. 4. Ask how many days it will take to pick up the car. 5. Inquire about the car’s features, fuel consumption, configurations, and more.
