How to Activate the Audi Q3 Electronic Stability Program (ESP)?

Audi Q3's ESP switch is located below the air conditioning button area on the center console. The ESP function is enabled by default in the vehicle. Press this button to deactivate the function. The ESP function is intelligently controlled by the vehicle's onboard computer and does not require manual operation by the driver. It primarily maintains stability during extreme vehicle operation. Extreme maneuvers such as corner drifting and launch control require an appropriate slip rate to be achieved, hence the ESP function needs to be turned off.
I just started driving an Audi Q3 not long ago, and as a new car owner, I learned that the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system is actually enabled by default. It activates automatically after starting the vehicle, so there's no need to manually turn it on. There's an ESC OFF button on the control panel—if you press it, the system will deactivate. To turn it back on, simply do nothing or press the button again to toggle it. This feature is a lifesaver on slippery roads. When I was learning to drive, I once encountered a sharp turn, and the system automatically balanced the car, preventing a skid. It's best to keep it enabled during normal driving to ensure safety. Audi's design is very thoughtful; beginners don’t have to worry about complicated operations—it just works naturally to protect you while driving.
