After parking, tap the fan icon at the bottom of the touchscreen. Set "Keep-Climate-On" to "DOG". Adjust the temperature, and Dog Mode will remain active after leaving the vehicle. If the battery level drops below 20%, you'll receive a notification via the mobile app.

When I take my dog to the supermarket in my Tesla, I often use Dog Mode, which is super easy to operate: after parking, find the Climate button on the central control screen and tap it, then a dog icon option called Dog Mode will appear on the screen—just tap it to activate. Once activated, the car's air conditioning stays on, and the display shows a message indicating that the pet is safe, preventing passersby from worrying about the dog getting too hot or cold. I find setting the temperature around 24 degrees Celsius to be the most comfortable, especially useful during summer or winter outings, ensuring the dog doesn’t feel uncomfortable in the car. Remember to lock the car when leaving, and don’t open the windows too wide—aim to return within half an hour at most, safety first. I also make it a habit to leave a water bowl in the car to prevent the pet from getting thirsty. This mode is really user-friendly, hassle-free, and straightforward.
