Method to activate one-touch window lift for Hyundai Mistra: On the driver's left side of the Mistra, there are window lift buttons. First, press and hold the button to raise the window until it is fully closed, then continue holding the button without releasing. When you hear a click sound from the window, stop pressing the button. One-touch window lift refers to a system where the car window glass can be controlled to rise or fall into position with a single press. Cars equipped with one-touch window lift have two-stage window lift control switches, with the first button position functioning the same as a regular power window. The Hyundai Mistra has a body length, width, and height of 4710 mm, 1820 mm, and 1470 mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2770 mm.

I've tinkered with the one-touch window lift feature on the Hyundai Mistra a few times and found that the key is to perform the initialization setup. First, start the vehicle and sit in the driver's seat to press each window button—hold down to lower the window completely without releasing, wait for five seconds, then hold to raise it to the top and keep it pressed for another five seconds. Immediately after, test the remote key function by pressing and holding the lock button for more than three seconds; at this point, you should see the windows automatically rise. Pay special attention to setting up the driver's side window first, followed by the other three in sequence. If initialization fails, it might be due to a disconnected battery or a previously stuck window—in such cases, it's recommended to visit a 4S shop to rematch the control module with a computer. Also, avoid using high-pressure water jets directly into the window gaps during car washes, as sand entering the tracks can easily trigger the anti-pinch function incorrectly, causing the one-touch window lift to malfunction.

When I first got my 2019 Mistra, I also didn’t know how to use the one-touch window feature. Later, I figured out a simple workaround: First, power on the car without starting the engine, then sit inside and lower all four windows completely. Next, turn off the power, wait ten seconds, and power it back on. Then, hold each window’s up button to raise it to the top, keeping it pressed for five seconds before releasing. After that, point the remote key at the car and hold the lock button until you hear a click, which means it’s activated. If the remote doesn’t respond, try opening and closing the doors before repeating the steps. Hyundai’s system is quite sensitive—if you’ve modified the wiring or replaced the battery, it’s especially prone to failure. When using it normally, avoid pressing the window button too hard; a light tap twice should suffice. If the button gets stuck, you’ll need to remove the door panel to fix it.

Activating the one-touch window lift for the Mistra is easiest by directly using the door switches. After starting the engine, press and hold the window lift button on the driver's door panel for more than five seconds until the window moves up and down once, indicating activation for the driver's side. Repeat the same process for the other three windows by pressing the corresponding buttons on their respective doors. When testing, avoid using the remote; instead, quickly press the window lift button twice lightly. If the passenger window doesn't respond, first check if the child lock is engaged. Remote key window lift requires manual setup after activation: press the lock button three times consecutively, holding down the third press until the window fully closes. It's best to reset this function every six months to prevent failure during rainy days.
