How to Activate Cruise Control on the Lavida?

The cruise control switch of the Lavida is located on the control lever at the lower left side of the steering wheel. To activate it, simply toggle the lever to the left, while toggling it to the right deactivates the system. The Lavida's cruise control, also referred to as the speed control system or autonomous driving system, primarily functions to maintain the vehicle's speed as set by the driver without the need to press the accelerator pedal, allowing the car to travel at a constant speed. The Lavida measures 4605mm in length, 1765mm in width, and 1460mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2610mm. Its onboard navigation system combines touchscreen and rotary knob controls, supports MP3 playback, and includes USB, AUX, and SD card expansion slots for ease of use and powerful functionality. The LCD screen features a foldable design.
I previously tried the cruise control on the Lavida while driving, and it felt quite user-friendly. Simply put, start the car and drive onto a highway or open road, with a recommended speed of at least 30 km/h for the system to respond well. On the left or right side of the steering wheel, you'll find the cruise control lever—usually with an on/off button. Press it once, and the cruise icon will light up on the dashboard. Then, accelerate to your desired speed, say 60 km/h, and lightly press the SET button—the car will automatically maintain that speed. To adjust, use the nearby + or - buttons to increase or decrease speed, with each press changing it by about 1 km/h. To cancel, lightly tap the brake or press the CANCEL button; to resume later, just press RES. Safety reminder: Avoid using it in heavy city traffic, and don’t rely too much on the system—keep your eyes on the road and maintain a safe distance. The Lavida’s cruise control is designed to be stable, and once you get the hang of it, it can save a lot of effort on long drives.
I've driven for several years, and the Lavida's cruise control is quite practical: start the engine, get on the highway. Simply press the cruise activation button on the steering wheel control area, and once the icon lights up, accelerate to a comfortable speed and press SET to lock it in. To adjust speed, use the + or - buttons. To cancel, just tap the brake—it's that easy. Remember to use it safely on straight roads with light traffic. The system automatically exits cruise control when you brake, but you can resume your set speed by pressing the RES button. The Lavida responds quickly, reducing driver fatigue and even saving a bit of fuel. Beginners should practice on low-risk roads first to familiarize themselves with the button locations. Avoid tampering with the wiring, and have the connectors checked during maintenance.
