How to activate cruise control on Audi A6?

Audi A6 activates cruise control by pulling the lever-type switch forward. The cruise control system, also known as speed control device, automatically maintains the vehicle speed as required by the driver without pressing the accelerator pedal, allowing the car to travel at a fixed speed. The dimensions of Audi A6 are: length 4951mm, width 1886mm, height 1483mm, with a wheelbase of 2925mm. Audi A6 is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, delivering maximum power of 140kW (190PS), mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
I used to drive an Audi A6 frequently, and the cruise control was quite convenient to use. First, accelerate to over 30 km/h, for example, around 60 km/h on the highway. Then, locate the control lever on the left side of the steering wheel and gently flick it to activate the cruise system, followed by pressing the SET button to lock the current speed. This allows your foot to rest, but you must stay attentive while driving and not let your mind wander completely. Adjusting the speed is easy with the +/- buttons—press once to speed up and once to slow down. To exit, press CANCEL or step on the brake to return to manual control. The key is to use it when the road is clear—safety always comes first, otherwise, minor accidents can easily occur. It's also important to check the button responsiveness during regular maintenance to avoid malfunctions at critical moments.
