To activate cruise control in CRV: 1. Press the cruise button on the steering wheel; 2. When the speed reaches above 40 km/h, press the set button. CRV is a compact SUV under Honda. Taking the CRV 2021 model as an example, its body dimensions are: length 4621mm, width 1855mm, height 1689mm, wheelbase 2660mm, and fuel tank capacity 53L. The CRV 2021 model is equipped with a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine, with a maximum power of 158kW, matched with an ECVT continuously variable transmission.
Using the cruise control on the CRV is actually quite simple. I've tried it on both the old and new models. First, press the CRUISE button with the speedometer icon on the right side of the steering wheel, and a white indicator light will illuminate on the dashboard. Then, accelerate to your desired speed, such as 80 km/h on the highway, and press the SET/- button. At this point, you can take your foot off the accelerator, and the car will maintain that speed automatically. To increase speed, press RES/+; to decrease speed, press SET/-. You can cancel the cruise control by pressing the brake or the CANCEL button. A reminder: it's best not to use this function in rainy or slippery conditions, as the car may accelerate on downhill slopes, so be mindful of control. Also, avoid using it in heavy city traffic where following distances are too short, as it can easily lead to accidents.
